I always want hearts I make to come with an affirmation card to explain their purpose and meaning, and to allow the giver to write a personal message to the recipient. This part is crucial to my mission to use the hearts to spread love, compassion, hope, and kindness.

This is the description I share with all customers:

To make sharing easy and meaningful, I recommend pairing each heart with an affirmation card.

I have three ways that work well:

1) Use a One-inch Adhesive Dot to affix the Heart to the Affirmation Card

2) Combine the Heart and Affirmation Card loosely in a White Gift Bag (the green heart pictured)

3) Use a One-inch Adhesive Dot to securely affix the Heart to the Affirmation Card, then place it in a White Gift Bag (the purple heart pictured)

Each option feels progressively more formal. See the pictures for reference.

Take a moment to add a personalised message

Each affirmation card has a space for a handwritten note so the recipient knows exactly what you want the heart rock to remind them of.

For example, let's say I give my wife a heart rock without any spoken or written message. Her brain will identify it as a rock in the shape of a heart. However, if, while gifting it to her, I tell her, "Here's a reminder that I love you and always will." Her brain will associate my message with the heart. This will prompt her to recall my message each time she sees and feels her gifted heart. 

In psychology, this is referred to as "Creating an Artefact." It's a powerful tool for spreading love, compassion, hope, and kindness for years to come. The message becomes even more powerful if the recipient experiences dark moments amid life's struggles.

Specs:

The affirmation cards are 2 inches wide and 3.5 inches tall, full-colour, double-sided, with rounded corners. The blue side features a glossy finish, while the white side has a matte finish — perfect for writing a personalised message. Basically, think of them as super fancy business cards. 

The fabric bags are ~3 inches wide and ~3.5 inches tall.

The cards easily fit into the bags, with room for 1-10 hearts. They also work well for a single heart rock plug-in night-light.
